The Podiumz world

Choosing your swimming goggles

Choose your swimming goggles for your swimming routine, light conditions and preferred fit. This guide explains the differences between HydroFlex and HydroSpeed and how to adjust and care for your Podiumz equipment.

What are the best swimming goggles for you?

The best pair matches your face, your swimming style and the conditions you swim in. When choosing comfortable goggles, consider gasket softness, contact around the eyes and fit adjustment instead of simply tightening the strap.

Comfort and a wider profile: start by comparing HydroFlex. Its wider shape and soft gasket are designed to spread contact around the eyes. A compact racing profile: HydroSpeed offers a different fit preference with less coverage on the face.

Smaller or larger faces: four nose bridges let you try different widths. Nose bridge selection and strap adjustment matter more than a promise of a universal fit. Marks around the eyes also depend on your face shape and strap tension.

HydroFlex or HydroSpeed?

HydroFlex and HydroSpeed: the key differences

For a wider contact area and interchangeable lenses, explore the HydroFlex+ dual kit. For a compact profile geared towards racing, discover HydroSpeed+. Comfort also depends on fit and face shape.

Clear or mirrored lenses?

Indoor pools and low light: consider HydroFlex+ clear lenses. Bright conditions: explore HydroFlex+ mirrored lenses.

How to adjust goggles without overtightening

  1. Try the supplied nose bridges to find a width that places the gaskets evenly around your eyes.
  2. Position the goggles on your face, then place the strap.
  3. Adjust the strap gradually. A tight strap does not replace a well-fitting nose bridge.
  4. Check the fit before your session. If pressure or leaking persists, try another bridge and reposition the goggles.

HydroFlex is designed to distribute contact around the eyes. Pressure and marks vary with face shape, adjustment and swimming time. No fit suits everyone automatically.

Classic or reactivatable anti-fog?

HydroFlex+ and HydroSpeed+ use reactivatable anti-fog technology. The Classic collection remains available with a surface treatment that needs different care. Check your model's treatment before touching the inside of its lenses.

Reactivating compatible anti-fog lenses

  1. Immerse the goggles for 5–10 seconds.
  2. Gently shake off excess water and put the goggles on.
  3. If necessary, wet your fingers and gently touch the inside for temporary reactivation of a compatible treatment.

This procedure is for reactivatable technology. Avoid touching or rubbing the inside of Classic surface-treated lenses. Do not apply this procedure to another pair without checking its instructions.

Care and storage

Rinse after use and avoid abrasive products. Let your goggles dry before storage. A hard case separates them from other items in your bag.

Swimming goggles for smaller faces

Start with the nose bridge that matches your eye spacing, then check that the gaskets sit evenly around your eyes. HydroSpeed offers a more compact profile; HydroFlex has a wider contact area. The smallest model is not automatically the most comfortable. Try the supplied bridges and adjust the strap gradually.

Swimming goggles for larger faces

Check nose bridge width and gasket position first. The four included bridges offer several fit options. Consider HydroFlex if you prefer a wider contact area around your eyes. If pressure persists, reposition the frame instead of overtightening the strap.
